About ManMetHacks
First edition of our 24 hour student hackathon in Manchester Metropolitan University. We will be hosting around 150 student hackers from all over the UK that will meet to code, design and build innovative technological solutions.
About Global Game Jam
The GGJ brings the community together to work together for a weekend to make games. It is a unique opportunity for people to create, collaborate and practice their game making skills, and invites everyone of any skill level to take part. For more info click here
About helloHackers Society
The society was founded in September 2018. It strives to build the hacker community at the university. It has three committee members as of now. We run monthly workshops and are really excited to host our first hackathon.

Hackathon?
A hackathon is an invention marathon. Students come together to build cool software & hardware hacks over 24 hours.Who can attend?
To attend as a hacker, you need to be a university student or have left university in the past year. Apologies, but we are unable to accept under 18s. You can also attend as a mentor, e-mail us for more info.I can't code?
Not a problem at all. This is a beginner friendly hackathon, with tons of activity planned for you to learn something new and implement it in your hacks.What is the cost?
Nothing. Attending a hackathon is absolutely free.What do I bring?
Your ticket, student ID, toiletries and a laptop with its charger. That's about it!Is there a CoC?
